Back from the Beach

The almost-becoming-annual Pace-Becker beach trip is over, but the memories live on.

In the above photo, the guys are having fun. I'm obsessing about jellyfish, baby sharks, and undertow. And for the record, B and I both got stung. B said it felt like a nest of wasps on his leg. I thought it was similar to getting a potassium IV.

I'm contemplating withdrawing him from school

Today when we went to pick him up (after having a lovely lunch of Indian food and then spending the afternoon at the Frist), we were met at the door by Ms. Dee. She said, "Oh! We love having John here. He is so mannerly and obedient."

If this happens again -- even one time -- then I'm taking him out.

Because clearly, they don't even know which one is my child.

Dropped him off for his first day at his "new, cool school day." They were having a dance party. He never even looked back to say "bye."
